Western Caucus Foundation announces new monthly show

“Champions of Rural America” on RFD-TV

Western Caucus Foundation announces new monthly show “Champions of Rural America” on RFD-TV. “Campions of Rural America” will feature high-level discussions with leaders from the Congressional and Senate Western Caucuses and policy influencers who understand the vital role that rural communities play in the fabric of the nation. Each episode will delve into the complex landscape that is Washington D.C.; where a group of U.S. Representatives and Senators are working to convey the realities faced by rural Americans and educate their big city peers who favor metropolitan and coastal agendas.

On a monthly basis, viewers will have the opportunity to learn about key legislation and federal government actions that uniquely impact farmers, ranchers, and those who live, work, and recreate in small rural communities across America. This show will be a front row seat to a bold group of men and women who are fighting to shape positive outcomes for rural and western Americans while simultaneously cultivating solutions that favor the entire nation.

RFD-TV will premiere “Champions of Rural America,” produced by the Western Caucus Foundation, on September 18, 2023 at 7:00 PM EDT, hosted by RFD-TV personality Christina Loren.

“We are excited with the Foundation’s partnership with the RFD-TV to give greater exposure to the members of Congress who are fighting for rural and western America and the federal policies that will impact those living there,” said Darrell Henry, Executive Director, Western Caucus Foundation.”

“The Western Caucus was created to promote and defend the western way of life and preserve our values for future generations,” said Sen. Cynthia Lummis (WY), Honorary Co-Chair, Western Caucus Foundation. “With the launch of Champions of Rural America on RFD-TV we will now have the platform to widely share big congressional wins for the west and broadcast the issues most important to western states to a large audience.”

““I’m excited for this new show produced by the Western Caucus Foundation and for the continued partnership with RFD-TV. The Western Caucus is the preeminent voice for Rural America in Washington, D.C. and this program will be able to provide critical updates about our work on behalf of the farmers, ranchers, landowners, and communities across rural and Western America. This platform will help us elevate the visibility of the work of the Western Caucus Foundation to highlight the important work the organization does on Capitol Hill, and I’m looking forward to its debut.” said Rep. Dan Newhouse (WA-04), Honorary Co-Chair, Western Caucus Foundation.

“RFD-TV is pleased to expand its public policy programming by broadcasting Champions of Rural America that will put a spotlight on federal actions affecting rural America and highlight the Members of Congress who are fighting to protect our way of life,” Patrick Gottsch, President, RFD-TV.
