Lastly, staff heard from an energy policy panel on the negative impacts of Biden energy policies on business, consumers, and American national security.

WESTERN CAUCUS UPDATES

Rep. Jeff Duncan (SC-03)’s Atomic Energy Advancement Act has passed the House.

The bill aims to fix regulatory and licensing restrictions that impede nuclear energy production.

The bill was received by the Senate and has been referred to the Committee on Environment and Public Works (EPW). Slicing red tape would allow for nuclear energy projects to better serve Americans.

The Protect America’s Lands Act was introduced in the Senate to disallow national securities exchanges from listing Natural Asset Companies (NAC’s).

NAC’s allow for radical environmentalists to fund land acquisitions across the west – curbing energy production, grazing, mining, and recreation.

Introducing members include SWC Chair Sen. Cynthia Lummis (WY) and Western Caucus members John Barrasso (WY), Dan Sullivan (AK), Pete Ricketts (NE), James Risch (ID), Roger Marshall (KS), Mike Lee (R-UT), Mike Crapo (ID), Tom Cotton (AR) and James Lankford (OK).
