“Champions of Rural America” featuring the Western Caucus airs on RFD-TV tonight featuring the impact of the U.S. border crisis on the environment, farmers, and ranchers.

RFD-TV will premiere the fifth episode of “Champions of Rural America,” produced by the Western Caucus Foundation, tonight, Monday February 26, 2024, at 7:00 PM ET, hosted by RFD-TV personality Christina Loren.

 Filmed on the United States / Mexico border in Cochise County, Arizona, this episode will highlight lesser-known issues such as the extreme impact the border crisis has on the environment and our farmers and ranchers on the border.

This episode will feature Congressional Western Caucus Chairman Dan Newhouse (R-WA 4th Dist.) and Representatives Juan Ciscomani (R-AZ 6th Dist.) Harriet Hageman (R-WY At-Large), Pete Stauber (R-MN 8th Dist.), John Curtis (R-UT 3rd Dist.), Tom Tiffany (R-WI 7th Dist.), Bruce Westerman (R-AR 4th Dist.), Buddy Carter (R-GA 1st Dist.), Kevin Hern, (R-OK 1st Dist.), and Mike Collins (R-GA 10th Dist.).

“Champions of Rural America” features high-level discussions with leaders from the Congressional and Senate Western Caucuses and policy influencers who understand the vital role that rural communities play in the fabric of the nation. Each episode delves into the complex landscape that is Washington D.C.; where a group of U.S. Representatives and Senators are working to convey the realities faced by rural Americans and educate their big city peers who favor metropolitan and coastal agendas.

The Western Caucus Foundation (WCF) is a 501(c)(3) not for profit organization committed to educating public policy makers and communicating with the public to enhance, sustain, and preserve the principles and culture of the West and rural America. The Foundation provides support, education, and outreach opportunities to highlight federal public policies important to the Congressional (House) and Senate Western Caucuses and rural America.
